A First Attempt

Lauren and I decided to stop procrastinating and finally review The Impossible Knife of Memory. We started out okay but our first attempt didn't go exactly as planned. Hopefully our second try contains more depth.

*It started good with stuff that will be in the actual review later and then...*

Steph:  Can we stop and talk about the texting? I seriously had to think to decipher
             what was being said.

Lauren: One thing, the ending was good. Like, exactly what should happen when you're
              in high school.

              Also yes, texting.

Babies and animals are the same thing.

Steph: That last thing was from another conversation.
At first I was like no one talks like that. BUT then I found this.

Steph: That's from my little cousin. She's in high school right now.
I can now proudly? say I understand it all.

Lauren:  AND PEOPLE HAVE LIKED IT.

Steph:  I worry for our future. And at 22, I feel really old.

Lauren:  Dude yes. I feel so old. I'm watching Pitch Perfect and we made pancakes for
               dinner to do something fun.

Steph: I'm buying movies, looking for wine and candy so I can stay at home.
But then, I'm also sitting on the floor in the candy aisle writing to you.

Lauren: Well, that's not age, that's just sad.

Steph: No, this is sad. I'm about to buy chardonnay because it's on sale. $5.
I can't be Olivia Pope until I make money.

Lauren: You can pretend.
